Where To Get Might and Magic 2 Traits? Top Locations & Tips Shared

Okay, so last weekend I got super obsessed with grabbing all the Might and Magic 2 traits for my character build. Wanted that edge, y’know? Figured I’d just share how I actually did it instead of just throwin’ random tips around.

My Starting Point & First Moves

Started fresh on Saturday morning. Hopped into the game totally blind about trait locations. Wandered around the starting town for ages talkin’ to every NPC I bumped into. Most gave useless gossip, but one old dude near the stables actually dropped a hint about “shiny things in wet places.” Weird, right?

Took that clue and booked it to the Coastal Caves southwest of town. Got wrecked by crabs twice—learned fast that bringing antidotes is non-negotiable. Third try, I poked around every seaweed-covered wall and finally found a rusty chest behind a waterfall. Score! Pulled out “Ocean’s Endurance” trait. Felt like a genius.

Digging Deeper & Fixing Mistakes

Next up, I remembered folks online whispering about desert stuff. So I grinded gold to buy a desert camel from a sketchy trader outside town. Went straight to the Sunscorched Dunes. Big mistake. Died of thirst in ten minutes because I packed zero waterskins. Ugh.

Reloaded, bought like twenty waterskins, and tried again. Found a buried ruin entrance partly covered by sand dunes. Inside, dodged rolling boulder traps (lost one teammate… oops) and grabbed “Mirage Agility” off a glowing pedestal. Definitely save before touching those—it zapped my health when I messed up the button combo!

Final Locations That Actually Worked

For the last few traits, I stopped guessin’ and camped out with snacks. Here’s what worked:

  • Thornwood Forest: Climbed the giant tree at dusk. Found “Forest Camouflage” in a hollow knot at the top. Watch for poison ivy mobs—they respawn fast.
  • Abandoned Foundry: Solved pipe puzzles to access the furnace room. Melted debris blocked the door until I used frost spells. Inside? “Blazing Heart” trait cooking near lava.
  • Whispering Catacombs: Followed echoes in narrow tunnels—no map, just audio clues. “Spirit Channel” popped when I appeased ghost NPCs with random junk from my bag. Skeletons dropped zero hints BTW.

Stuff I Wish I Knew Earlier

After spending way too many hours:

  • Time of day matters! Moonlit traits won’t spawn at high noon.
  • Save scumming puzzles beats backtracking.
  • Trade with wanderers. One guy in rags sold me a clue for rotten apples. Easiest trait ever.

In the end, snagged all 10 traits by Sunday midnight. My character’s stacked now—no regrets. Hope my mess-ups save ya time!
