My Wild Goose Chase Today
Got this idea after seeing folks whisper about BG3 comics online. Thought, “Hey, shouldn’t be too hard to find, right?” Famous last words. Figured I’d dig around myself and write down what happened. No big plan, just straight-up clicking and searching.
Started simple. Opened a regular browser I always use. Typed something like “bg3 comics free stuff” into that big search bar everybody knows. Hit enter like I owned the place.
First results looked kinda okay. Some site names popped up that sounded familiar. Clicked the top one. Loading… loading… then bam! Giant warning page. Big red letters yelling about unsafe content and threats. My browser basically screaming “DON’T GO IN THERE!” Felt like touching a hot stove. Closed that tab fast.
Okay, maybe too direct. Changed my search words. Tried “baldurs gate 3 fan comics” thinking it sounded nicer. This time, I saw links to places people chat, like big forums and artist groups. Got hopeful! Clicked a couple. Scrolled down, down, down… saw tons of amazing fan art, cool character drawings, funny screenshots… but not one single comic like I was hunting. Felt like searching for fries and only finding salad pics.
Afternoon came, and I was getting annoyed. Remembered people talk on apps now. Pulled out my phone. Went onto that bird app and that image square app. Searched tags like #bg3fanart and #bg3community. Saw amazing stuff! Beautiful art, cosplay… but comics? Nada. Zip. Zero. Did find some artists who might make them, but their profiles mostly had ‘normal’ art or links straight to pay sites. No freebies laying around.
Tried one more trick. Went back to searching, but added “reddit” hoping the big community sites might help. Found some dark corners of that site mentioned. Big warning banners flashed right away about mature content. Tried clicking some threads anyway. Dead. Ends. Everywhere. “Content removed.” “Link broken.” “User deleted.” Felt like chasing ghosts. Saw some blurry images behind spoiler tags once, maybe a nude character? But comics telling a story? Didn’t find jack.
Total honesty? By dinnertime, my “easy find” mission felt stupid. Found plenty of awesome fan art, sure. Tons of thirsty character appreciation posts, oh yeah. But actual, downloadable free porn comics set in BG3? Seems like finding gold dust in your backyard. Unless you wanna pay artists directly (which is fine!) or know some super-secret hidden vault online (which I clearly don’t), finding this free stuff feels impossible. Maybe it’s stricter lately, maybe my search skills suck. Either way, my browser history’s a mess and my results folder is empty. Stupid filters, broken links, deleted accounts… the internet feels like it’s fighting you on this one. Learned my lesson: it’s harder than it sounds. Guess I’ll stick to looking at cool drawings instead. Mission failed. 😩
