Honestly, getting all the candies in Disney Dreamlight Valley? It drove me nuts at first. Everyone was asking where they are, so I thought, alright, I’m gonna find every single one and write it down. Simple as that.
Started My Candy Hunt
Okay, day one, I thought maybe candy just randomly falls from trees or something. Nope. Walked all over the Peaceful Meadow, The Plaza – nothing special happened. Felt kinda dumb just wandering.
Then I remembered someone mentioning villagers. Okay, focus. I grabbed my shovel and started digging sparkly spots. Mostly found coins and materials though. Digging got boring fast.
My “Aha!” moment came later. Got a quest from Mickey asking for candy, and bam! There it was, glowing right next to Remy’s restaurant after I finished talking to him. So that’s the trick! Gifts from villagers after quests. Felt good to finally figure that part out.
Getting Seriously Organized
Armed with that info, I hit up every single character. Seriously. Every day. Even Scrooge. The routine was:
- Talk to a villager.
- Complete whatever small task they had.
- Wait for that flashy candy bag animation nearby!
The spots always seemed to pop up close to where the quest started or ended. Found candies near Goofy’s stall, by Merlin’s house, under that big tree in the Glade. Couldn’t miss the sparkle if you were looking.
Annoying bit? Some candies only dropped at night. Or only in certain biomes after unlocking them. Had to revisit areas like the Frosted Heights later on when I unlocked them. Took a few days to finish.
Wrapping It Up & My Best Tip
Took me about three days total, playing on and off. The final few were a pain ’cause I had to wait for specific characters to be active.
The absolute easiest way? Seriously, focus only on giving gifts to villagers. Skip the fishing and mining unless a quest needs it. Just gift, gift, gift. Each completed quest is one candy. Got three candies? That’s three gifts delivered. Easy.
So yeah, my candy guide boils down to: talk to villagers, finish their quick tasks (especially gifting!), and keep your eyes peeled for the shiny bag near you. Patience pays off. Now I’m just hoarding them until Halloween!
