Best Diablo 3 Voodoo Doctor Build Guide Dominate The Game Fast

Okay so last night I was totally fed up with my Witch Doctor in Diablo 3. Felt weak, died constantly pushing higher rifts, just wasn’t fun. I remember seeing a post about this voodoo build claiming to dominate fast. Figured, what the heck, let’s try it out. No idea if it would actually work.

The Gear Grind (Mostly Spare Crap)

First step was checking my stash and characters. Needed specific stuff apparently. Found some pieces:

  • An old Helltooth Harness set – not even complete, only 5 pieces. Was gathering dust for ages.
  • A decent Short Man’s Finger ring? Yeah, had one from a gamble session last week. Totally forgot.
  • Sacred Harvester knife – sweet, pulled this from a Forgotten Soul salvage pile last season.
  • Lakumba’s Ornament bracers – random drop yesterday, almost salvaged them!
  • A mediocre Mask of Jeram cube’d ages ago.

Missing the Henri’s Perquisition mojo, but had a Gazing Demise that would do for testing. Also found a crappy The Traveler’s Pledge amulet set in stash. Threw this junk collection together. Stats were all over the place, resistance sucked, looked terrible. But hey, got the main pieces kinda on. Paragon dumped into Int, Vit, and a little Life.

Cubing & Skill Tweaking Chaos

Opened Kanai’s Cube. Needed powers:

Burned spare stuff for Furnace – big damage to elites, yes please. Took ages to find a yellow two-hander to upgrade.

Second slot grabbed Lakumba’s effect since I actually had the bracers equipped now. More toughness!

Third slot… uh, didn’t have the Henri’s mojo, put Quetzalcoatl for now? Saw it helped with poison stuff.

Opened skills tab. Changed everything!

  • Main attack now Haunt – point at things and they get green mist.
  • Fire those little Piranhas – vacuum things together? Cool.
  • Buffed myself with Soul Harvest – felt like stealing power, awesome.
  • Summoned three Big Gargantuans thanks to that ring! Bigger bodies, bigger punches.
  • Placed the Piranhado thing – pulls enemies in.
  • Spammy button: Wall of Death with Fire rune? Seemed to fit the set.
  • Passives focused on buffing pets and boosting Soul Harvest.

Felt like a totally different character. Had to completely re-learn the buttons.

The Messy Test Run

Hopped into Torment 13 Rift. My usual difficulty. Popped Soul Harvest near some trash mobs – felt beefier immediately. Cast Haunt on an elite, threw down Piranhado, summoned the three HUGE Gargantuans, and spammed Wall of Death everywhere.

Holy crap! Elite pack just melted. Those big guys were stomping everything! Kept Soul Harvest stacks up by running into groups. Walls everywhere. Haunt spreading like poison ivy. Legit felt powerful, even with cobbled gear.

Died a few times to big affixes – those stupid arc beams! – because my resistance still sucked and I got cocky. But when I played careful, kept distance, let the Gargs tank? Smooth sailing. Finished the rift way faster than before.

First Taste of Domination

Tried a Greater Rift 75. Tense! Focused hard on positioning. Drop Piranhado, suck ’em in. Spam Haunt onto elites. Summon big bois. Keep Wall of Death under bosses. Run around like crazy avoiding hits, sucking up Soul Harvest stacks wherever possible.

It worked! The boss health bar just dropped insanely fast once the three Gargs focused him. Cleared it with about 2 minutes left. A personal record!

This janky mess of a build, with gear I almost threw away, actually worked far better than anything I’d tried before. The difference was night and day. Felt like I finally found a way to make Voodoo Doctor truly wreck stuff. Now I gotta farm better rolled gear and maybe find that Henri’s!
