So hey, found out Disney Dreamlight Valley’s got this Candy Bucket thing going on right now. Figured, why not? Gotta get that special reward stuff, right? But man, actually tracking down all those candies across the valley? Felt like hunting for tiny needles in a biiiig, grassy haystack. Needed a smarter way.
Hitting Up My Usual Spots First
Started simple. Ran around Peaceful Meadow, my home base. Figured they’d stick them near obvious things. Found one right behind Merlin’s house, tucked in the corner. Okay, cool. Checked around the big pond, near Goofy’s stall… bam, another one. Not too bad yet. Peeked around Chez Remy, near the restaurant sign? Yep, candy number three. Felt like I was on a roll.
Headed over to the Plaza next, buzzing around the big well. Tore apart that whole center area. Scored one near Scrooge’s shop, just kinda sitting there. Another was weirdly hiding behind the restaurant – like, why back there? Then, randomly walked near the stairs down to the Meadow, and oh, one more right there. Plaza done? Maybe.
Things Started Getting Trickier
Glade of Trust came next. Love that area, but it’s messy. Water everywhere! Scanned near Mother Gothel’s tree – zilch. Checked around the big waterfalls. Found one kind of hidden by some rocks on the higher side, near where Simba hangs out. That felt satisfying. Circled the big swamp lake… nothing obvious. Went down near the Cave entrance? Still nothing. Was starting to second-guess myself.
Dazzle Beach was next. Sun’s out, let’s go! Spotted one right near Maui’s little hut, easy grab. Okay, good start. Wandered past Moana’s boat, scanned the shore… nope. Checked near the cave entrance on the beach – still nothing. Walked all the way down past Ursula’s wrecked house, near the bridge to the Glade… and hello! Candy hiding near the bridge pillar. Was starting to see a pattern – check the zone borders!
The Big Hitters: Forest & Frost Heights
Forgot Lands? Forget about finding anything quickly there in the dark! Seriously, grabbed the Sunbird companion and zoomed up high. One candy was near the entrance, kinda near the stairs going down to the Glade. Easy spot. The second one? That drove me nuts. Fluttered all over the pillars, scoured the little ponds… finally found it tucked way in the back, near Elsa’s cave, almost blending in with some mushrooms. Whew.
Sunlit Plateau felt huge. So much open space! Found one candy almost immediately, right in front of Scar’s cave. Too easy? Checked near the pond with the bones… nothing. Searched high and low near the overlook towards the Savanna. Was about to give up when oh! Candy number two, just chilling near a big rock kinda close to where the Orb used to be. Relief!
Frosted Heights time. Brrr! So much snow. Spotted one candy right next to the big ice crystal near the entrance. Score! Flew up to the top level near Anna and Kristoff’s house. Tore apart that whole snowy plateau. Nada. Circled the frozen pond. Still nothing. Went back down. Checked again near the bottom entrance… wait, what? There it is! Candy number two was actually near the bottom of the second ice staircase, by some bushes. Totally missed it the first pass! Had to climb over that small wall near the shop to reach it.
Wrapping It Up
By this point, I’d gathered like 8 candies? Still missing a couple. Realized I’d kinda rushed the earlier zones. Forced myself to go back:
- Plaza: Did I really check every corner near the steps? Went back down to the Meadow entrance… sure enough, candy hiding by the pillar! Felt silly.
- Glade of Trust: Re-checked near the Cave entrance, properly this time. Scanned the ground right after the watermill bridge – candy sitting there, just mocking me.
Finally… It had been driving me nuts thinking I missed spots. Turns out, most are really just tucked away near zone boundaries, big landmarks, or easily missable corners. Once you know the general areas to eyeball, it gets way faster. Got all ten delivered to WALL·E eventually! Feels good to have that bucket empty. Happy hunting if you’re going for it!
