Diablo 3 Sprinter Conquest Simple Tricks to Beat the Clock Challenge

Okay so I finally tackled that crazy Sprinter Conquest in Diablo 3 this week. You know, the one where you gotta blast through all five campaign acts in under an hour? Yeah, sounds wild – felt wild too. Here’s exactly how my run went down, warts and all.

Getting My Setup Ready

First things first, I picked a Demon Hunter ’cause everyone says it’s fastest with Strafe movement. Grabbed my old GoD Hungering Arrow build from last season and slapped on every movement boost possible:

  • Warzechian Armguards for that sweet speed burst after breaking stuff
  • Wreath of Lightning gem juiced to level 25
  • Perfection passive for tactical dodge rolls
  • Smoke Screen with Displacement rune for “oh crap” moments

Spent like twenty minutes just farming mats to reroll gear stats. Needed movement speed everywhere – boots, pants, even dumped damage on amulet for extra 7% zoomies. Felt weird sacrificing power but hey, clock’s ticking!

Execution Phase – Hold On To Your Hat

Started timer the second I clicked “Game Start”. Immediately turbo-rolled through every zone:

Diablo 3 Sprinter Conquest Simple Tricks to Beat the Clock Challenge

  • Act 1: Skipped all trash mobs except destructibles for Warzechian procs. Dove straight into Leoric’s manor dungeons without clearing side rooms.
  • Act 2: Nightmare. Those desert maps are huge! Pre-casted Smoke Screen before talking to NPCs to skip dialogue animations. Almost died to Belial ’cause my DPS sucked but kited like mad.
  • Act 3: Hugged walls in keeps to avoid combat. Teleported to Azmodan the second Kulle opened portal – zero hesitation.

Heart was pounding at Act 4. Diablo fight took three tries – first attempt wasted when he chain-trapped me in bone prisons. Changed tactic: dodged toward him during lightning phase instead of away, surprisingly worked better.

Final Sprint & Time Crunch Panic

By Act 5 I was sweating bullets – only 8 minutes left! Skipped Malthael intro cutscene by spamming spacebar. Used Strafe to phase through mobs in Pandemonium fortress while keeping Wreath stacks up. Saw Adria at 58:17 on the clock… one-shot her with Companion active and Vengeance popped.

Timer stopped at 59:48. Twelve freaking seconds to spare! Collapsed in my chair laughing like an idiot. Moral of the story?

  • Movement abilities > damage for this conquest
  • Skip dialogues like your life depends on it (cause your time does)
  • Practice boss fights offline first – those wipes murder your run

Would I do it again? Hell no. But the bragging rights? Absolutely worth the headache.
