Alright so today I wanna talk about this whole Uber Duriel mess in Diablo 4. Total nightmare trying to beat that thing myself. Seriously, I must’ve died like 50 times last weekend. Group finder sucked, randoms kept wiping, absolute waste of potions.

- Asked about specifics: Messaged a few top contenders. Asked dumb questions: “Who pays for the summon mats?” (HUGE deal, Duriel mats are expensive!), “How long does a run usually take?”, “What happens if we wipe?” Gotta know.
Choosing My Carry Guy
Based on price per kill, mat responsibility (found one where THEY covered it, sweet!), and decent reviews mentioning fast kills and no BS, I picked a guy charging $15 per kill. Reviews mostly said he was quiet, efficient, had a solid group. Plus, he answered my messages quick. Booked two runs. Crossed my fingers.
Running The Actual Carry
Joined the guy’s Discord, sent payment (gulp!), got a party invite. Three other players besides me and the carry leader. We zoned into the boss area. Honestly? Felt kinda weird just standing there. These three dudes (the carry team) popped all their buffs, ran straight at Duriel like madmen. Burned Duriel down in less than a minute flat. Absolutely crushed it. I mostly just dodged pools and tried not to die. Loot exploded everywhere! Grabbed it all fast, thanked the carry leader in Discord, he said “np,” and I was outta there. Did a second run right after, same deal. Quick and painless.
So… Was It Worth It?
Got a few nice upgrades, unique gloves and some materials, sure. But the real takeaway? Do your homework. Prices vary like crazy, reviews are mixed, and the service details matter big time – especially who coughs up the summoning mats. That $15 was okay for the convenience and guarantee, but that $5 guy? His reviews screamed “scam” and “slow.” Dodged a bullet. Won’t be doing this every week, feels kinda like cheating, but as a desperate endgame push for gear? Yeah, maybe once in a while. Just gotta pick carefully, man.
