Okay so I wanted to level a new Demon Hunter like real fast this season. Tired of that slow grind, you know? Figured I’d share exactly what worked for me.
Starting Out Pure Garbage
Just slapped on whatever trash blues and yellows dropped early game. Used the basic Rapid Fire because hey, free skill, right? Cleared the first ten levels painfully slow. Felt like watching grass grow. Almost gave up and made a Necro instead.
Switching Things Up Early
Hit level 18-ish and found some boots with +12% movement speed. Game changer! Immediately swapped skills:
- Vault instead of that lame Caltrops
- Multishot with the “wide spray” rune for groups
Suddenly didn’t feel like running through mud anymore. Started jumping over whole packs while shooting backwards. Felt kinda badass actually.
The Real Juice – Gear Hunting
Spammed adventure mode bounties like crazy around level 30. Gambled all blood shards on pants first. Struck gold with:
- Depth Diggers – extra damage just for using generators? Sign me up
- Any freaking quiver that boosted Multishot – used a trash yellow for ages
Got stupid lucky around 50 when a random goblin dropped Warzechian Armguards. Accidentally broke some destructibles near a rift boss and ZOOMED across the map. Felt like cheating.
The Final Push Setup
By 60 I’d crafted some junk:
- Cain’s Fate set helmet/pants for XP bonus
- Burning axe socketed with ruby – boosted fire damage
Ran rifts with Multishot clearing entire screens before mobs blinked. Vaulted through empty zones while chugging health globes for speed. Hit 70 in one sitting while my coffee went cold. No Uber gear needed – just smart low-level choices.
Why This Crap Works
You don’t need perfect ancient gear. Early movement speed + resource management is EVERYTHING. Stay mobile, hit hard in bursts, ignore single targets. Demon hunter goes vroom when you build for chaos, not precision. Leveled three more DHs since using this method. Still haven’t finished that coffee.
