Alright so last night I was playing Grounded 2, trying to grab those signal stashes on top of the trash cans near the hedge lab. Real frustrating stuff – kept falling off or getting attacked by ants while climbing. Figured there had to be a smarter way.
The Stupid Way I Was Doing It Before
First I tried stacking grass planks to make stairs. Total waste of time. Spent like 20 minutes gathering materials only to have a ladybug knock it all down. Then tried parkouring up broken bottles nearby – slipped and took fall damage three times in a row. Almost rage-quit right there.
How I Finally Nailed It
Trick is using what’s already around instead of building:
- Found that overturned bucket northwest of the red anthill – sprint jumped from there to the nearest can
- Spotted dandelion tufts floating near the soda can – floated sideways onto the cans like feather-light elevators
- Used weevil distraction tactic – chased one toward the cans so ants followed it instead of me
Timing matters too. Wait for patrols to pass behind the juice box before moving. Did all three stashes in under five minutes once I stopped fighting the environment. Just bounced between existing objects like nature’s own obstacle course.
Why This Actually Works
The devs totally designed this area expecting players to brute-force it with crafting. But physics objects have way more utility. That drifting dandelion seed? Better than any crafted ladder. Weevils? Free aggro dummies. Saved so much resin and sap not building nonsense structures. Proves sometimes game knowledge beats grinding every single time.
