How I Finally Snagged Blue Star Lilies in Dreamlight Valley
Alright so listen, I was bumbling around Dreamlight Valley yesterday. Needed Blue Star Lilies for Merlin’s potion thing, right? Figured it’d be easy. Ha. Nope. Walked all over Peaceful Meadow first – nothing but weeds and dandelions. Seriously, got nada. Went back to sleep hoping the next day would magically grow some. Woke up early, ran straight back… still nothing! Total waste of time.
Panic started to kick in. Thought maybe I needed to progress more with characters? Checked my quest list – Merlin was still just blinking expectantly. Ugh. Decided to shove past Scrooge McDuck (sorry buddy) and sprint into the Forest of Valor. Figured hey, “Forest” sounds promising for flowers. Wandered near the big willow tree for ages – nope. Checked near the cave entrance – nada. Found mushrooms I didn’t need though. Cool.
Got this gut feeling maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t unlocked yet? Went digging in my Royal Tools upgrades. My Watering Can was basic. Remembered someone ages ago mentioned watering dried flowers? Hadn’t really paid attention. Found one near the bridge entrance to the Forest. It looked all sad and crunchy. Pulled out the basic Watering Can, splashed it a couple times… bam! Watered it. Went to sleep feeling kinda stupid, but hopeful.
Woke up the next day. Coffee first, obviously. Then hustled back to that spot by the Forest of Valor bridge, practically tripping over my own feet. And there they were! Three bright, glowy, beautiful Blue Star Lilies popping out of the ground right where I watered that dumb brown plant! Woohoo! Felt like cracking a secret code. Grabbed ’em right away. Took a pic just cause they look awesome. Looks like watering those specific dried flower patches in the Forest of Valor is the actual key. After you upgrade your Watering Can to just the level that lets you water ’em, obviously. Told you it was simple. Eventually.
