Here’s Exactly How I Grabbed Those Broken Mythics Today
Woke up seeing folks lose their minds over that Kit’s Mythic Shotgun + Shockwave Launcher combo shredding in endgames. Knew I had to snag it myself fast. No fancy guides, just pure grind.
First drop? Straight onto Storm Assault Island. That big castle-looking place seemed promising. Landed on the very top floor where people say Kit hangs out. Nothing. Pure panic. Heard footsteps below. Grabbed a grey pistol off a shelf, rushed downstairs feeling like a superhero… then got absolutely demolished by some dude camping a corner with a Hammer Pump. Back to lobby. Zero kits. Epic fail.
Changed tactics. Forget fighting early. Need speed. Queued up again. This time, aimed for the ground outside Rebel’s Roost, near the coast. Saw a car spawn right by the shore. Perfect.
Here’s the simple run that finally worked:
- Landed directly on the car’s roof. No messing with ground loot first.
- Hopped in, floored it up the mountain towards Rebel’s Roost entrance. Ignored everyone shooting.
- Spotted Kit patrolling near the big main building, close to the track starting point.
- Drove that car RIGHT AT HIM. Smacked him hard enough to break his shield.
- Jumped out mid-drift, sprayed him down with an SMG (didn’t even have to aim well) before he could phase away.
- BOOM. The Mythic Shotgun AND Shockwave Launcher dropped like candy. Snatched ’em up!
Had maybe two bullets left in the SMG, shields were cracked, health almost gone. Didn’t care. Had the goodies.
Tried this run maybe… ten times? The car part was crucial. Running up the mountain takes forever, someone always gets Kit first. Driving lets you bypass all that messy early fighting. Focus purely on running Kit over and cleaning up fast.
Warning though: That Shockwave Launcher feels like cheating, but aiming takes practice. Almost blew myself off the map near the final circle. Pure luck I landed on someone and shotgunned them point-blank. Still choked the Victory Royale because I panicked and tried shockwaving a guy way too close. Launched us both into the storm. Worth it? Totally.
Felt so good wrecking mid-game lobbies with it until the sweats found me. Moral of the story? Commit to the car strat. Skip the POI fights. Go all-in on vehicular Kit-slaughter. Die a lot trying. But when it clicks? Pure, unadulterated broken loot fun. Just try not to shockwave yourself into the abyss like I did. Off to find another car…
