The Annoying Roadblocks
Man, this took WAY longer than I thought. Half the listings were fake or weirdly priced. Saw one listed at like $50 – get real! Then I found a bunch of “sold” listings that were actually for different editions or foil versions. Not helpful! My eyes started crossing staring at all these numbers.
Another headache? A lot of sites just showed prices from weeks or even months ago. The game changes fast! Prices from last season? Basically useless for right now. Almost threw my coffee cup.
What Actually Happened (For Real)
Took me like over an hour of digging, but I finally started seeing some patterns in the actual, real sales that closed in the last week.
- Saw one clean copy sell for $22 plus shipping two days ago.
- Another one, same condition, went for a flat $25.
- Then found an auction that had ended just yesterday afternoon – that card went for $27 after a tiny bidding war.
Putting It Together
So here’s the deal right now, Tuesday the 12th, based on what real people actually paid this past week:
- If yours is near mint, you can probably get around $23 to $27 cash for it.
- If someone offers you just $20 cash today? Honestly, that’s kinda lowballing unless it’s damaged.
- Trading it? Value bumps up a bit, more like $25-$29 trade value. Gotta account for that hassle factor.
Seriously though, prices move fast. That $27 sale yesterday? A month ago the same card was maybe $19. This whole thing just reminded me how nuts this market can be. Always gotta check those recent sold listings yourself!
