Alright so yesterday I was scrolling through my PS5 dashboard looking for something to replay when BAM, that gorgeous Spider-Man 2 icon just stared back at me. I got hit with a wave of nostalgia, remembered how insane that final battle was, and thought – “Man, those posters hidden in the game were pure art.” I always meant to check ’em all out properly.
Fired the game up immediately, obviously. Started swinging around Queens just like old times, punching pigeons like a pro. My goal? Track down every cool poster spot I could remember. Flipped into photo mode whenever I saw graffiti, signs, anything remotely poster-looking on the walls. But man… it was tedious. Some were way up on skyscrapers, others tucked in grimy alleys where Venom goons liked to hang. Died twice trying to frame a perfect shot near Octavius’ old lab. Felt like Miles learning to swing all over again.
After maybe an hour? I gave up. My capture gallery was a mess – blurry nighttime shots, half my webline in frame. Not the stunning collection I dreamed of.
Then I remembered something dumb. That fancy touchpad on the controller? I kinda mashed it while ranting to myself about bad angles. Boom! Swipe left? There it was. Right on my controller! Not the map, not the skills menu. Some kinda fan gallery INSIDE the game menu. Called it like “Spider-Man Stickerbook” or something? Honestly felt like finding Peter’s secret backpack stash.
Tapped that touchpad again fast. Zoom! Suddenly, clean, crisp posters flooded the whole screen:
- The classic suit shot with Miles and Peter back-to-back.
- Black and gold suit poster looking all dramatic.
- Even the goofy pizza shop ads!
- And that crazy Venom symbiote takeover poster with its goopy horror vibes.
Scrolling through felt awesome. Big, detailed, no bad guys interrupting. No web-swinging needed. Just pure, instant poster glory. Sat there for ages just flipping through them on my TV like I’d uncovered some secret cheat code.
Felt so dang satisfied. Like finally beating that one rooftop screwball challenge. All that time I wasted crawling over buildings? Wished I’d just mashed my controller sooner! Finished my coffee cold, just appreciating Miles’ suit details right there on my big screen. Sometimes the best stuff is hidden right under your thumbs. Solid gaming win.
