The Testing Phase
Next day tried different combo:
- Predator talent – faster energy comeback when enemies die
- Savage Roar – permanent damage buff (takes practice to keep up!)
- Bloodtalons – makes next two attacks hit like trucks
Practiced keeping all this going on target dummies ’til my fingers cramped. Messed up rotation constantly at first. Forgot Savage Roar half the time. Felt like juggling chainsaws while riding unicycle. But damage? Started seeing bigger yellow numbers.
The Breakthrough Moment
After three days sweating on dummies, joined random dungeon. Applied everything:
- Opened with Rake + Moonfire (surprise fire from kitty!)
- Popped Berserk + Tigers Fury for big damage window
- Spammed Ferocious Bite when targets below 25% health
Holy. Crap. Damage meter shot through roof! Took #1 spot from that cocky rogue. He whispered: “Wtf cat?” Best compliment ever. Still made mistakes – forgot Bloodtalons proc on second boss fight. But overall 23% more damage than last week.
Key things I learned:
- Never skip Savage Roar – it’s like forgetting pants
- Bloodtalons timing needs muscle memory – count attacks in head
- Predator talent turns trash mobs into energy drinks
Took me a whole damn week to nail rotation consistently. Feels good now though – claws slice like hot knife through butter. Still need practice on movement-heavy fights but damn… this cat finally hunts.
