After 50+ reloads, here’s the spots that consistently work:
1. Druid Grove Supply Room
Smash crates behind locked door near Nettie’s place. Found 2 ropes tangled with burlap sacks in third playthrough.
2. Roadside Ruins Crates
Check northeast corner near skeleton corpses. Always one rope under moldy bread crusts. Don’t ask why it’s there. 3. Dank Crypt Entrance
Barrel to the left of giant stone head trap. Got rope covered in dust + dead rat. Pro tip: shoot barrel from afar or get crushed. Stop stressing traders – rope spawns are random but crates near starter areas never disappoint. Now I grab 5 ropes whenever starting new game. Still hate how heavy they are though.
